This program model is designed to provide individuals with short-term support that helps them
transition into a new job.
These supports include: job skill and interest assessments, job seeking skills, and, short-term, one-to-one training.
Individuals in this model have the ability to work independently after these initial short-term supports.
The instructor plays the role of supporting the worker, promoting integration with the other employees, and encouraging natural supports.
The FAVARH support provided in this model usually does not extend beyond a two to three month period.
