FAVARH's Residential Services originated in 1983 as an innovative alternative to institutional living for 6 young adults. Twenty-two years later, we have grown into an association that provides individual supports for 39 people throughout the Farmington Valley and its surrounding communities.
Our current housing opportunities include both unlicensed Supportive Living Arrangements (SLA) and licensed Community Living arrangements (CLA), ranging from less than 10 hours per week to 24 hours per day of staffing supports.
Farmington Valley ARC's residential supports offer persons the opportunity to plan the support they require to maximize their role in the community. FAVARH's staff strive to support each individual in designing and implementing goals that allow people to live as independently as possible. As we move into the future, FAVARH will renew our commitment to offering unique solutions to persons who are searching for a custom designed plan for community living supports.
