Unified Sports bring individuals with and without intellectual disabilities, comparable age and athletic ability, together to participate in up to four sports (floor hockey, soccer, softball and basketball) per year.

FAVARH is an accredited local delegation of Special Olympics Connecticut and services all areas of the Farmington Valley and beyond. Each of the seasonal sports typically consists of 8 weeks of practice, coordinated by trained coaches and dedicated partner-volunteers, which then culminates in a State-Wide, Weekend Tournament.

Unified Special Olympics is a constructive way to build long-lasting relationships, increase self esteem, and emphasize teamwork.
